A way of thinking.

“An inside-out, iterative approach ensures every detail is purposeful and considered.”

About the designer

Tony is an interior and spatial designer interested in how environments feel, function, and endure. With formal training in Interior and Architectural Design, and experience across high-end residential interiors, kitchens, and bespoke joinery, he brings together intuition, technical skill, and careful judgement.

His interest in art, antiques, and architectural history, from stately homes and châteaux to contemporary design, informs a restrained and considered approach. Each project is shaped through a balance of proportion, material, and detail, resulting in interiors that feel intuitive and grounded in daily life.

StudioDeWynter reflects this way of working — an independent practice focused on creating interiors that feel natural, intuitive, and grounded in daily life.

“Simply put — a creative problem solver, with an inherent sense of taste.’’

Philosophy

We take a considered, iterative approach, where each decision is given the attention it deserves. By understanding and interpreting moods, memories, and aspirations, we shape the essence of a space before any design work begins.

From there, form and function are developed together — considering layout, materials, and how a space will be used day to day. Feeling remains at the centre throughout, guiding each refinement to ensure the design not only works but also feels right.

Design that respects time, place, and people
