A way of life.
StudioDeWynter exists to create refined residential spaces shaped around the way people live.
We design through interdependent spatial thinking rather than predefined styles or single-supplier systems, considering form, function and feeling as a connected whole. Working across layout, proportion and specification, every decision is considered in relation to the overall experience of the space.
At the core of the practice is an ability to interpret complex briefs with nuance, reading between what is said, what is meant, and what is not yet articulated. This understanding is translated into clear spatial decisions that create environments which feel intuitive, personal and enduring.
A way of life, expressed through space.
What we do
We primarily work within the residential sector, designing homes as interconnected environments where layout, movement, kitchens, built-in furniture and atmosphere are developed as part of a coherent whole.
Our work spans spatial planning, interior architecture, kitchen design, bespoke joinery and full interior specification, allowing projects to be resolved with clarity across both the architectural framework and interior detail.
Whether working on a single room or an entire property, the focus remains the same: creating spaces that feel considered, cohesive and fully integrated.
How we work
Every project begins with a story. Our role is to interpret it and translate it into spatial experience.
We believe the best design solutions emerge through careful listening, questioning and refinement. By considering each decision in relation to the whole, projects are developed with clarity, coherence and intent from concept through to specification.
“It’s like you’ve reached into my mind, rooted through all the detritus in there, and given me exactly what I wanted.”
Form—Function—Feeling
Form, function and feeling are considered together rather than in sequence.
The most successful spaces resolve all three as a unified whole, balancing how they are used, how they are built and how they are experienced.
